UPDATE on Tape: Bush, Chertoff Warned Before Katrina

This is an update on my previous post regarding the Associated Press tape showing Bush, Chertoff were warned of the Katrina disaster. The blogsite Crooks and Liars has the actual video conference between FEMA disaster officials and President Bush, while he was on vacation.

Here's the Quicktime Movie link from Crooks and Liars.

It is one thing to read the AP story on this outrageous lie, but it is even more astounding to watch these FEMA disaster officials tell President Bush that this is a storm that will be ranked among the top ten hurricanes this country has faced. Even more, you can see the video link of National Hurricane Center's Max Mayfield warning President Bush of Katrina's landfall--and Mayfield is standing in front of a radar image of Katrina moving towards the Gulf Coast. And President Bush's video conference response is seen and clearly heard, "We are fully prepared."

I'm dumbfounded. This is beyond imagination.
