Saturday Morning Cartoons--Deputy Droopy

For today's Saturday Morning Cartoons, I've got one of the early Droopy cartoons, Deputy Droopy. Droopy is a slow-talking, dead-panned personality dog who is guarding a safe full of gold, while the sheriff is next door sleeping--any noise the sheriff hears and he'll come into the room shooting. Well, two outlaws want to steal that gold from the safe quietly without waking the sheriff. As usual, Droopy is two steps ahead of the outlaws by creating situations where the outlaws would have to make noise. Droopy was created by the great Tex Avery. In addition to Droopy, Avery was responsible for creating one of the most famous Warner Brother's cartoon characters, Bugs Bunny in A Wild Hare. So let's make some noise with Deputy Droopy.
