The duodecimal system is a numeral system that uses the number 12 as its base, rather than the decimal (base-10) numbering system that we use all the time. I'll admit that the duodecimal system can get a little complicated here, but this Schoolhouse Rock song does give you a little introduction to this numbering system. And the song is pretty cool.
