New GOP spin: Palin is still not ready

I found this YouTube video from the Jedreport, where GOP strategist Todd Harris tells MSNBC's Chris Matthews that vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin will not be made available to the press for about two weeks because she might make "a mistake." From YOuTube:

Here is the money quote from GOP strategist Todd Harris:

If she goes out and makes a mistake, that is something that [voters will] care about, and that's something that will haunt [McCain] for awhile, so I think this is a smart move.

This is just frickin' crazy! The McCain campaign will not send out their Toy Poodle because they are afraid that Palin will make a mistake that will "haunt" the John McCain through the last two months of the election. This is an admission by the McCain campaign that they chose an unqualified candidate in Sarah Palin. They failed to properly vet Palin, and now that the scandals are coming out on Palin, they are afraid that Palin will screw up and destroy McCain's chances for winning the White House. This has been once huge, blundering, strategic mistake by the McCain campaign in hastily selecting Palin to be the VP candidate, and now it is becoming a huge, blundering PR-cover-up in keeping an unqualified Palin away from the press. And the McCain campaign, and the GOP, have admitted that they made a mistake in selecting Palin.

The McCain Dog Show continues on without their star Toy Poodle.
